How Accuracy Works

Our figures are modelled estimates, not measured benchmark runs. We anchor on a simple premise — a system meeting a game’s recommended spec should reach roughly 60 FPS at 1080p on high — then scale by your hardware’s relative score, resolution and preset. That makes us good at comparing configurations, and no substitute for a review that actually ran the game.

Data Sources

We do not test hardware ourselves. Our scores aggregate publicly available benchmark results from multiple independent outlets, combined with manufacturer specifications and publisher-published system requirements. Scores are updated as new hardware launches and as patches change what games ask for. Our full method is documented in our editorial standards.

Our recommendations are strictly data-driven. We are not influenced by manufacturers or publishers. Our tier lists and comparisons remain objective.
